WCM offers camp fun with a Montessori approach for boys and girls in the following age group: those children who have graduated from the Pre-toddler Program or have reached age 2 by the start fo the program to children entering 2nd grade in the Fall.
Thematic sessions include arts and crafts, outdoor explorations, sports, games, science experiments, and manipulatives in our indoor air-conditioned facilities and adjoining playgrounds and Woods Creek trails.
Taught by trained pre-school teachers, the program fosters each child’s overall development. Primary students will attend camp at Boxerwood Gardens, an arboretum in Lexington. Toddlers will remain at WCM during those weeks with the exception of a day field trip. A detailed camp letter will be sent out by late April for all enrollees concerning curriculum details and other important information.
