The school accepts applications for children ages 2 to 5 on a rolling basis. Due to space/ enrollment limitations and the demand for a Montessori education, we encourage early application to guarantee consideration. Waiting list status is obtained by submission of application form and fee.
Enrollment is contingent upon openings in the appropriate classroom. The Montessori philosophy encourages a blending of age, gender and ethnicity. Priority given to WCM siblings.
When you make your initial inquiry, we will invite you to schedule a time to visit the school and observe a class in session. Follow-up questions may be addressed by the appropriate teacher immediately if circumstances allow, or in a timely manner upon receipt of your observation questionnaire.
After your observation, please request an application from the Director. Once you have completed and returned the application with your non-refundable application fee, you may schedule a meeting for you and your child to meet with the teacher.
When placement in the school is mutually agreed upon, we will schedule a beginning date for your child at which time your remaining enrollment forms and fees will be due.
The Director will initiate a follow- up conversation concerning your application at which time you will be asked to choose your parent committee and discuss other parent participation roles at the school. WCM is a
non-profit school and we rely on the participation of our parents!
Prior to your child’s first day of school, we will provide printed information helpful for beginning school including a supply list for the first day, a calendar, and a parent handbook.
Woods Creek Montessori offers scholarships based on need, and accepts children regardless of race, gender, economic, religious and cultural background.
